[Taxes] SG and ID Tax Code does not Populated from Item Tax Schedule

Hi Gurus,

I have an item where it is accessible to MALAYSIA, SINGAPORE and INDONESIA, and I have also assign the Tax Schedule correctly for this item:

  • MY: 6%
  • SG: 7%
  • ID: 11%

But when i create a Sales Order and selected this item (also selected the correct subsidiary), noticed that for SG and ID, the Tax Code does not auto-populate from the Item Tax Schedule, it populated from the Default Tax Code set under the SETUP TAXES instead. (But for MY, it populated correctly by following the Item Tax Schedule)

May i know if i have missed out anything setting for SG and ID? or is this a common behaviour in NetSuite for SG and ID? (If yes what is the possible solution can be done? And would like to further understand what is the purposes of NetSuite allowing user to set the Item Tax Schedule for SG and ID?)

Howdy, Stranger!
