Error on Saving SO : Failed to create or assign a workflow instance for record
We have an approval workflow on the Sales Order record that manages approvals based on custom pricing. This is a non-ending workflow, and it had been functioning correctly until recently.
We made an update to the workflow to reflect a change in business process, but subsequently reverted it to its previous state following a business request. Since this revert, users are encountering errors when attempting to save a Sales Order.
Notably, the issue is not affecting all users — only a specific subset, which adds complexity to diagnosing the root cause.
