Custom Fields

When the default fields in NetSuite QuickStart Edition don't align with your specialized data requirements, consider creating custom fields. These allow you to capture information that is unique to your business needs. Prior to creating them, it is advisable to verify that similar custom fields don't already exist, ensuring a streamlined and organized data collection process. This simple step can contribute to efficient data management and help maintain consistency across your records. 

As an account administrator or a user with the Customization: create fields and segments permission, you can customize records and fields in NetSuite QuickStart Edition.
