I have the same impression as Christian: saw something connected to that somewhere in MOS but can't remember where, when, what ... Would have to search and be optimistic to find it again ...

Hi, Yes, you are missing enough info to be able to give you an answer You need to give more details to expect an answer which could make sense and not random guesses of what you maybe did or not ... By the way: do we agree your Windows is a supported version and not your laptop's Windows 7 or 10, right?

So why did you flagged things as correct? This mark the thread as "nothing to see here anymore, all done", so if it isn't fixed remove the correct answer and explain what went wrong and where. Rohit Trehan wrote:...it gave errors. This just doesn't mean anything...

Good luck, remember to come back posting a feedback if you actually solved the thing (and with some hints on how if in a different way for others with similar needs) and then close the thread.

Let them save in their personal folder for their debugging needs or give them a folder in the catalog where they can do their things and then you delete the whole folder once debugging done. The less you touch the security of your prod for that need, the safer it is.

Hi, What's the point of being able to edit a dashboard but not save it? For the analysis I can see a need for it, but for the dashboard a lot less (as a dashboard is a set of analysis, so why don't you create the required dashboard directly?). At the catalog level they need to be able to open objects but not write them. In…

Workaround? Export as CSV: faster and no "visual" things playing with your cells, just data.

In the RPD you can set the aggregation to "LAST", so why not adding a new measure next to the AVG unit price being the LAST one ?

OBIEE 12c is HTML5 by default, so by CSS you must be able to do something, you just need to make sure your CSS rule is the one which is applied. Probably by adding a narrative/text view in the analysis/page assigning by CSS or JS the color of your variable.

11g was the reference for my answer ....

Isn't it a permission you can manage in the front-end admin page? It's ages since I saw 10g ... so not sure what was there 10 years ago ...

I can only agree with Thomas first and Christian after. Now for your need you are maybe ignoring the best tool for the job: SmartView Instead of trying to change an export from OBIEE in a kind of Excel format, bring the data directly into Excel so that the format (font etc.) is managed in Excel itself directly and OBIEE…

Elaborate your question, give details of what you look for, what you tried so far, what is working and what isn't first. So far you asked if it's possible, and the answer is yes. But I'm not behind your screen, so I can hardly have the details of what you setup and where you are stuck. (The idea is to facilitate things and…

Sure, same way as you would do for your user executing the analysis online.

To summarize the previous answers, which are globally all right and cover the few possible ways you did your prompt the situation is simple. Do you use the calendar-view prompt? (the one showing a real calendar) If YES then forget your requirement at the prompt level, this visualization of the prompt doesn't support any…
