Hi @User_FINT4 , Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum. Your question is about data, tables, related to a Fusion product, and not an Oracle Analytics product. You are maybe using Publisher for reporting, but the data aspect isn't "owned" by Publisher as it just connects to whatever source you use it with.…

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum. What is your workbook based on? A dataset or a subject area?

I saw a number of situation when bugs are called "work as designed" and turned into feature requests (even when it was obviously bugs). Sadly not much that can be done for that as far as I know, that's why the path of creating ideas can maybe help a bit. Thanks for creating this one as well :)
-
Like the other feature request, this one as well should be posted as an idea in . If you consider it is a bug instead of a feature request, then you should report it through a service request (SR) in .
-
Hi, This being a feature request, you should consider creating an idea for it: That's an easy way to have the product management team to review the request and evaluate it if if gets some supports by a number of users.

Hi @User_D2HIZ , Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community. This is a very old post that has been migrated across different platforms, it isn't going to go anywhere… Go to and use the "Ask a Question" button on the right to post a new question about your issue. Remember to provide all the required details like product name…

Your problem isn't about restricting the tables or tables content somebody can access in a Publisher data model, because that can easily be managed with common database security (as you talk about tables I assume a database to be involved). Your problem is more about Fusion not giving you the required granularity in the…

Hi, First of all a detail: OAS 7.0 is out of support… From your description there isn't much that can be said, because you are the only one having access to the logs of your environment and that can analyse what happen. You generically describe something without many details, talk about having error sometime but no details…

Hi, Did you follow the doc? The, maybe unexpected, way to create a theme is by starting modifying a default one and then save the result as a custom theme.

Hi, What release of OAC is your screenshot from? OAS 2025 is mostly based on OAC Jan 2025. If your screenshot comes from a later release, then you should wait OAS 2026 for the feature to be available. If the screenshot is from an older release of OAC, then it's possible this feature isn't available for OAS. Did you check…

If your dataflow execute correctly but shows "empty" when you try to edit it, and you tried clearing your browser cache and temp files (or a different browser) and you have the same behaviour, that can be a bug and you should then raise a support request (SR) to report it. In OAC you have limited visibility on what's going…

Hi, You are currently in the Oracle Analytics forum, but your question is about FIC, a component of Fusion. This is the Publisher category for technical questions about Publisher in general, not for specific Fusion questions (data, APIs, triggers etc.). You need to ask that question in the forum covering Fusion products:
-
Hi, Just a detail: in your question you posted a link to "Functions (Data Flow) Reference". That one isn't related to OAC, it is a different independent cloud product not connected to OAC itself. They just happen to use the same wording to identify objects and provide some similar features. The one in the link is the full…

My bad Madhu, I misread your post and thought you wanted to avoid the password to expire… Then the document shared by Siva is the one to follow.
-
Hi Madhu, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum. The password of the database accounts (schemas) created by the RCU before to install OBIEE 12c expire based on the default profile on your database. It's something your DBA can easily adjust if needed, because it isn't influenced, or decided, by OBIEE. It's all…

Hi, Have you considered raising that idea for the application "owning" that feature? What I mean is that the idea isn't about a technical behaviour of an Oracle Analytics product, but it's about how the products have been deployed in your Fusion application and the security model (or lack of) Fusion development decided to…
-
@cvidhya , Your question is about ESS jobs related to a Fusion app (I believe that's your reference to the Quality management module). Both Oracle Enterprise Scheduler (ESS) and Fusion are not Oracle Analytics products. They are covered in a separate, independent, forum: Feel free to visit that forum and find the best…

Hi, Is this based on a DV dataset or a semantic model subject area? Are you working in a DV workbook or in a "classic" analysis?
-
Hi, The solution posted there by @Philippe Lions-Oracle talks about a custom extension. This means that you could deploy that extension in OAS just like you can deploy it in OAC (it isn't an out-of-the-box feature). The question could be where can you download that extension, I don't see it in . Maybe Philippe could share…
