BIP dependent parameter default

Organization Name
Macquarie Global Services
Description
The BIP datamodel dependent parameter does not have an option to default.
When a parameter is made dependent on another parameter selection and also has a default value, it doesn't work when the report is loaded for the first time.
Example: Ledger set is a parameter and ledger is another parameter.
When ledger set is chosen, ledger would be refreshed with corresponding data.
Both these parameters have a default value. When we open the report the parameter page loads but the default on ledger is not working. It always chooses the first value from the LOV.
Use Case and Business Need
We should be able to default parameter values though the parameters are dependant.
