Currently, in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), there is a 250GB storage limit for datasets, but there are no practical management features to operate within this limit. This makes day‑to‑day operations very inconvenient.I would like to request the following enhancements for dataset storage management:

1. Configurable storage usage thresholds and corresponding actions
   • Ability to define multiple storage usage thresholds.
   • For each threshold, administrators can configure one or more operational actions that will be triggered when the threshold is reached.
2. Enhanced dataset management UI (detail view and deletion)
   • On the “Dataset Management” screen, provide a detailed view for each dataset, including:
     • Dataset name
     • Owner / associated users, groups, roles
     • Size (storage usage)
     • Creation date / last update date
     • Usage status (whether it is referenced by workbooks, data flows, reports, etc.)
   • Based on this information, allow flexible deletion operations at the dataset level (e.g., safely delete unused or large datasets).
3. Automatic execution of actions based on storage thresholds
   • Ability to define multiple storage usage thresholds.
   • For each threshold, allow administrators to configure a combination of actions, such as:
     • Displaying warning messages
     • Sending email notifications
     • Automatically deleting datasets (according to specified conditions)
     • Limiting or blocking creation of new datasets
   • These actions should be executable automatically when the threshold is reached.
4. Per role / user / group storage quota configuration
   • Ability to configure different storage limits (quotas) per role, user, or group.
   • This allows fine‑grained control so that heavy users or specific departments can have higher limits, while others have stricter limits.
5. Automatic cleanup of old / unused datasets
   • A feature to automatically delete or archive datasets that meet administrator‑defined criteria, such as:
     • Number of days since creation
     • Number of days since last usage
     • Combination of these and other conditions
   • This automatic cleanup will help keep storage usage within the 250GB limit and reduce manual maintenance effort.

These features would greatly improve operational efficiency and make it feasible to manage datasets under the 250GB storage limit in OAC.

I think the specific suggestion sound like different ideas. I do agree that the set is valuable and powerful. It would be helpful to break these out in to distinct ideas to help prioritize the different improvements here.
