Would like the ability to change the database repository connections in OAS.

Description
OBIEE 12c: How To Change Your OBIEE Connections When You Have Moved Your RCU Database To A New Host ( Doc ID 2177562.1 )
Note:
These steps have not been confirmed with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS); therefore, they are not supported at this time.
Would like the above methods of changing the OAS connections to a new RCU Database to work for OAS. Thanks.
Use Case and Business Need
We have a requirement to use Oracle Physical Dataguard without (Active or RAC) for our primary and standby database in dev, test and ops. We have upgraded to OAS from 12.2.1.3 for all environments. The OAS install/config has been done on the primary talking to primary database. After a planned switchover would to be able to switch the connections in OAS to point to the standby by server which is now acting as the primary without a whole lot of effort.
More details
Needs to be more flexible on the Oracle Analytics Server side. Tends to be designed more for the cloud. For instance if we need to use snapshots as a way to save incremental changes off, we need the ability to schedule jobs to fire off every hour or so. Need to have the ability to switch repository database connection. I believe both of these features were available in prior version (export bar files thru emcli and connections switch) in 12.2.1.2 /12.2.1.3.
