Renaming columns / attributes / measures in DV

Description
In DV, It would be good to have a possibility to either rename an attribute itself or at least the attribute used in a visualization, akin to the custom column heading in an analysis.
Use Case and Business Need
For different reasons using the name that the data model provides is sometimes not the best practice for reporting, so renaming attributes / columns / measures to fit reporting needs would be desirable.
More details
In DV, there is no way that I'm aware of to change element names, neither in visualizations nor in the data pane.

In fact, we would appreciate if Oracle made available *ALL* the features we have now available for Classic analyses and dashboards
We would like to transition from Classic to DV but we cannot do it due to loss of functionality.

We received the same requirement from our DV business users.

Can you give us a sense of priority of your Top features you'd like to see come over that are missing. a blanket ALL is not particularly actionable but having a sense of priority of your top N is something we can actively consider. The classic platform has many many features that customers no longer value so getting your priorities would be wonderful.

We have user group asking to rename columns at dataset level or at visualization level. users are agitated on not having simple functionality as they are hands-on on OBIEE. Started comparing OAC - DV features to Power BI /Tableau0 -
Hello Jaques,
Then may be I am wrong. Please clarify: I was under the impression that DV is a replacement of Classic analysis and dashboard.
- Is DV meant to be a replacement?
- Are we expected to stop using classic analyses and transition to DV?
All your comments welcome! Thank You.

Hi Marcelo,
As you know a lot has changed in how people use analytics nowadays from the time answers and Dashboard was initially created. Many things in the classic products aren't necessarily applicable today ( ie : wap message support for exampel) . So when you say convert *All* it doesn't help us prioritize projects... but if we can get a list of your topN ( i.e. : the most important thing for you is presentation variables , or skinning, or etc... ) then we can consider that in our planning meetings and it avoids us spending time on things no one cares about too.
Cheers

Creating custom calculations for this type of thing is a real pain and creates unnecessary my calculations
