Description

If a Fast Formula is used in the Grade Ladder Configuration, the Salary does not get populated automatically based on the Step selected while creating a job offer. The Fast Formula should be able to use the input variable of CMP_IV_STEP_NAME to identify the Step selected on the page dynamically and populate the salary based on the step seelcted.

Use Case and Business Need

There is need where salary needs to be assigned to an employee which needs to be different from the Step rate. Thus in this case we need to use the Fast Formula 'Salary progression rate calculation Rule'. But when this fast formula is used , the salary doesn't get populated automatically based on the step selected while creating a job offer(Requisition). At a time only one functionality can be achieved. Need to built flexibility in the Fast Formula/System where the fast formula can be used for both the requirements at the same time.
