Lack of functions to activate in the global header "Search" functionality in OAC

Description (Required):

In OBIEE 12c to activate in the global header "Search" functionality we have to go through the path:Home Page -> Administration -> Security area -> Manage Privileges -> Start page and header-> administer the privileges named : Access UI to the quick search, Simple search box, Advanced search link for the application role.

In OAC, using above path, we can't find this 3 options: Access UI to the quick search, Simple search box, Advanced search link. Could you please tell it is possible to add this functionality to OAC?

We have notification in our service desk that functionality is very helpful to search through the web catalog.

The functionality has been removed as part of a project for a common header across OAS/OAC interfaces. There are no plans to bring this back. Please provide specifics on the business need so we can consider alternatives.
