IMHO,
If Oracle decides to do this, I hope they also study very well how to provide security against injection attacks.
Including and not limited to settings that would let admins disable this feature and/or enforce controls against injections at a system level (catch-all), by subject-area, by role, by user, by workbook, by dashboard, by analysis, ... (there is a lot of conditions to evaluate).
Again: At the very least, let admins decide if this feature is on or off.

We already have hyperlink feature in "Tile Chart" and Text Charts

I would like to propose that the <HTML> tag is not required. The visualization should be able to recognize any tags for rich text formatting. For example, <p></p>, <b></b>, <li>…etc. Today when the data in tables are available as rich text, the visuals are unable to translate the rich text format to display them as expected.
