Agree. Plus, Internet Explorer is going to be deprecated soon. It would be nice to have options to choose the output format, e.g. we could choose "HTML output" instead of "XML/XSL".

When choosing this option, Oracle would transform the XML/XSL into pure HTML and this way we would be able to open and navigate among HTML pages, already pre-formatted.

    Hello @user11166061 ,

Only as a side comment: if you have a web server available for you in your organization, and you upload the metadata folder and subfolders to your own web server, THEN all browsers would accept to transform XML/XSLT into plain HTML. I know this is a second-rate work-around to this problem, forcing us to maintain a web-server and a website only for this purpose. Not ideal.

In my own personal case, I opted for not using "Metadata"; I use the other features available in the RPD Administration Tool.

    "right-click Query Related Objects"

    "Tools Query Repository"

    "Physical Diagram"

    "Business model diagram"

... and so ... (sigh) .. but -as you said- this is NOT ok for users, and it is NOT ok for 'tidy' documentation.

    Regards,

    Marcelo

Thanks for input, but this is mainly for endusers and documentation needed for reviewal etc. so these users does not have access to BI Admin tool. Will however consider and check your idea about Webserver. Cannot understand why Oracle does not fix this however.....
