Default skin in OAC

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
Cegal (Viken fylkeskommune)
Description (Required):
It should be possible to change the default skin for all dashboards (whereby also when creating analysis). Now you are forced to use Redwood skin, which I (and many more with me) don't like. Also it seems only Redwood and Alta is the only skin not being deprecated in OAC and OAS. Both have big font and leaves more whitespace than e.g. Skyros/SkyrosClould. Changing to Redwood or Alta will also lead to many design changes in dashboards which is a problem when you have 2-300 dashboard pages in a solution.
It should also be a lot more options to change the skin under "Manage Themes". E.g. change font size, colors on section header etc. etc.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
Design of dashboards.

I completely agree with the statement: "Both have big font and leaves more whitespace than e.g. Skyros/SkyrosCloud".
We are having the same opinion and reactions from our business end users after upgrading to OAS 6.4 (where Redwood is the default style/skin). We don't want to (even though we have that opportunity, since we are OAS on-premise customer) to switch our OAS environment (as default style/skin) to previous (and possibly deprecated in future versions) style/skins and it would be very advisable to change "fine-tune" Redwood, especially for classical outputs (Answers/Dashboards).

Unfortunately Oracle seems to have forgotten that many customers and users are using the Classic version where there are prebuilt dashboards and analysis. Also with a lot more functionality for prompts/filters. It should anyway be more alternatives than only 2 skins (Redwood and Alta). This is actually a showstopper from going to OAC, from OAS. User interface is important.

Seems there is a new Themes administration which is very good news, but is this also applicable for the Classic part? That is still heavily used since DV does not have all the features in Classic (advanced filters and prompts, column selector as default tool etc.)

OAC should not only be the case. It is same issue on OAS on Prem. Redwood and Alta are not looking good with Dashboard filters. Blafp is very compact and goes well for most tabular reports that Finance like. Please let us know if new version of OAS is having this needed enhancement on skins. We would like ability to add Font style - Bold etc and font size.
