OAS Certification with Microsoft Azure SQL Managed Instance

Description (Required): We are moving from BIP/OBIEE to OAP/OAS upgrade in Microsoft Azure. Currently we were in OS Windows. However as Cloud movement is happening within the Verizon, the forward direction is to move to Azure. However currently OAS is not supporting the Microsoft Azure SQL Managed Instance. Hence raising this enhancement request for requesting to certify the OAS application with Microsoft Azure SQL Managed Instance.

Use Case and Business Need (Required): The forward direction for Verizon Infrastructure is Microsoft Azure. So more applications, needs to be compatible with the Cloud Database.

Enhancement Request / Service Request: Guess this will fall under Service request.

Azure Synapse is already supported by OAC, it will come to OAS in the next OAS update (OAS 2023). I believe you are is also using OAC or moving to OAC.

Hi Rubin, Thanks for Update.

We are currently not using OAC. Instead, we are using Oracle BIP and OBIEE. Due to WebLogic constraints[ with Client Security reasons] forward direction is OAS for us. However Client team is telling to go with Azure SQL Managed instance. So this is what we were looking for.

So wanted to check, if there a plan to certify Azure SQL Managed Instance with OAS[ Oracle Analytics Server] specifically. what is the roadmap for this certification or will it be certified in future or not.
