    Hi mmrsherf -

I'm going to say that they are referring to this: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E63231_01/doc/BIASA/GUID-8E9904B5-E498-40E7-88BB-6F36B309CF37.htm#BIASA24666

But, so we are all aware, could you post your versions of ODI & OBIA (please include the bi admin tool and catalog manager versions as well)? Also, what note(s) or documentation are you following?

You are giving a small glimpse into what you are doing. Please add some context/details ...

    Regards,

    Charles

Yes I'm still on this i thought no the versions are not important because i already inserted the link that i'm interested in and i just want to know how to regenerate the Lineage source files.

    OBIA 11.1.10.2

    ODI 11.1.1.9

Catalog Manager and Admin tool 12.2.1

The note/doc i'm following is inserted in my original post.

    Hi mmrsherf,

One thing, why are you using the 12c client tools?

Also, that note is saying to "regenerate" the source files. It is implying that you have already done this before (i.e.. generated them previously). That is why I am asking you what documentation you are following to do this. If you look at the link I provided, in my initial reply, it contains the steps to generate the source files. They are generated by running the "data lineage" ETL. Have you already done this - I'm guessing yes, since you are getting the error in the note, right?

Those files exist on the OBIA application tier file system. Find the path (it should be something like /{base_path}/etl/data_files/src_files/BIA_11), then go to it and remove all the files that were created by the data lineage load. Then retry the load.

Is this what you are doing here?

    Regards,

    Charles

    Hello , Charles

i'm using 12c client tools because i'm using OBIEE 12c on top of OBIA environment.

there is files to generated by the ETL and other files to be collected from Admin tool/ catalog manager

i was checking to make sure which files exactly before starting to generate all this files again.

    Thanks and regards
