Writeback functionality issue
Hi,
I have enabled writeback functionality of a column in the BMM layer and deployed.
Pulled this column in a new analysis. I am able to check/uncheck the writeback option from the column properties.
However, I created another analysis using CREATE DIRECT DATABASE QUERY and added the same column in my sql query. The writeback option here is disabled. Hence, I am not able to check and uncheck the box.
Please advise with the steps to enable the writeback in the sql based report or any other work around which allows me to update into the physical table using the CREATE DIRECT DATABASE QUERY analysis. FYI, I am using the following version Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.2.0

Hi,
Are you able to see the Advanced tab, Just create a XML for Insert and place it under db_Messages path.
In RPD have you given Allow Privileges and execute direct base analysis as Allow.
