Migrate Users from OBI(12.2.1.0) to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
Hi Team,
Like we have Migrate option in OBIEE->Console->Security->My Realms->Migration, we export users and groups from one environment to another.
Now we have a requirement of importing existing environment Users and Groups to OAC environment.
How do we achieve this ! Any documentation for the same.!
Regards,
Naga.

Hi,
You want to import the users and groups of the Weblogic embedded LDAP in OAC?
You can still do it as it's just there as you on-prem setup, but you maybe want to consider moving your users to IDCS so you get all the benefits of a better security and user management and SSO all around the various services.

Gianni Ceresa,
Yes, want to import the users and groups of the Weblogic embedded LDAP in OAC.
Checking about IDCS. Please share if any suggestible links.
Thanks,
Naga

Well ... Google is the best place to get results, like http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/cloud/idcs/idcs_bulkload_obe/bulkload.html
More in general it wasn't a good practice to heavily use the embedded LDAP because it provides limited support for feature required by users. So a corporate LDAP or Active Directory was better. From that point of view using something IDCS would act like "external LDAP", so you go back to a better approach with users not stored inside OAC itself.
