R13 - Analytics - Getting info about Competitor in 2 ways

Hi,

Let me try to explain:

1 - On Account object, we've created a child object, where we put information about the Sales Competitor object

(Dynamic choice List for Competitor Name, and number and text fields;

2 - On Account Profile page we've created a Dynamic Choice List for Competitor Name that is related to the Sales Competitor object;

3 - So, an Account can have multiple Competitors, but one of them is the Principal Competitor;

4 - We've created an Custom Subject Area for the relation between Account and it's child object for Competitors: this is where we get the information

about "Account_Competitor Child Name" and "Number field in Account_Competitor Child" (shown in the attached image)

5 - We've created another Custom Subject Area for the Dynamic Choice List of the Account (related object);

6 - Now we want to achieve a table with:

6.1 - "Account Name", from Sales - CRM Customers (Standard Subject Area);

6.2 - "Account_Competitor Child Name", from CSA in 4;

6.3 - "Dynamic Choice Field in Account regarding Competitor", from CSA in 5;

6.4 - "Number field in Account_Competitor Child", from CSA in 4.

Problem:

We can achieve all the "Account_Competitor Child Name" that are on child of the Account:

- A Sousa Sousa and CFarma - Centro Farmacêutico

We can achieve the "Dynamic Choice Field in Account regarding Competitor" that is on the Account:

- Cooprofar

See attached image "What we are getting".

But we cannot achieve what we show in the attached image called "What we expect".

I've also attached images of the Accoun pages:

- Account_Competitor Child;

- Dynamic Choice Field in Account regarding Competitor.

Can you help us getting the result of the "What we expect" image?

Thanks,

    After a owc with support from Oracle, they told us that, with the relations we have on the Account object this is not possible via OTBI.

    In BI Publisher it could be possible.

    We we're told to try a workaround: to create a Text Field in Account, that reads the information of the Account Dynamic Choice List Field, everytime this one is created or updated.

    And then use this Text Field in the reports.

    For our purpose it works.
