I'm trying to completely hide a particular user 'user1' from showing up under Administration -> Manage Sessions under Cursor Cache. Is there a way to do this?

Please find the image attached below.

Doubt it very much -- what'd the be point in the product supporting that?

What's your use case for it?

    No. Not possible.

Thank you both Robin and Christian for quick response.

@Robin: Here is the use case (we have done some integration with SharePoint portal)..

We have an intranet SharePoint portal that calls just one OBIEE report via HtmlViewService webservice call authenticating as a user 'soapuser'. Since it is an intranet portal, almost all users in the company goes to this page all the time (for several other reasons). This is causing it to show up in the Session log (cursor cache) too many times that it overcrowds other sessions coming from regular OBIEE usage (ie., dashboards and reports). So I'm trying to suppress this user from manage sessions all-together if possible.

Again, there might be a different approach or I may have to ignore it as a problem. Not sure yet though. Thoughts?

Ignore. Rather pointless to mangle the application for somthting like this.

That makes more sense. In 11.1.1.9 there's more options on the manage sessions cache page in terms of sorting, which may help you. You can see some detail here: What's New in OBIEE 11.1.1.9 for Systems Administrators and Developers - Rittman Mead Consulting

Thank you both! I'll ignore as it doesn't hider any functionality of the application.

However is such a thing possible in 12c? (just curious as we might go to 12c in near future).

    No neither
