DB link for non-packaged source in OBIA 7.9.6.3

Hi All,

Can i use DB link to pull data from Non packaged source to Business analytical warehouse in OBIA 7.9.6.3?

Here Non package source is on oracle database only.

Will there be any issue regading licence,security etc?

There is no any problem if you use a DBLink to charge the data, for about the license, also there is no problem, in the comercial way.

But as source is non packaged and as per the guideline do we need to use universal adapter in informatica to pull the data?In universal adapter of informatica is only csv files allowed?

So for to use DB link for non packaged source can we create customized adapter in informatica or we need to use always universal adpter, and if universal adpter then is it always csv source files or can we use DB links?
