OBIA Index creation parallelism

Hi,
I am running OBIA on an 8 CPU DB server. THe DOP is subsequently 16. When the indexes of certain high population tables are being rebuilt, we get login timeouts of the ETL load plan.
I beleive that if I can reduce the parallelism from 16 to say 8 (or so) for the indexes concerned, the issue will resolve itself. Is there a simple way of specifying a table and saying that use 8 instead of 16 for the index rebuild?
