Introduce Additional Time Dimension in FAW which reflects system date in FAW to look in the past as it was at that point in time.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

From business perspective there are use cases where many data points needs to be analyzed looking in the past.

Covering multiple subject areas and multiple Time dimensions and data attributes.

So, being able to show and report on the data as it was at a particular moment in time - using one Time dimension where system date / snapshot date can be selected. Is applicable to areas like HCM, Budget/Forecast/Realization for Projects, Procurement, AP, etc.

@Joost Heeke - In the context of Historic time based reporting use cases that you mentioned, users can see the balances, activities, outstanding amount, etc as of particular point of time. It can be either at the grain of Fiscal Period or Fiscal date depending on the subject area. For AP Aging, we do support historic aging snapshots. Let us know if anything in particular you were looking for and found missing.
