Stop using session variables to validate the login - 404 error pops up because of closing OBI window
Description
Currently, when you close the OBI window/tab via 'x' instead of clicking on the sign out button, often a 404 error pops up when you sign in the next time.
Use Case and Business Need
Currently, when you close the OBI window/tab via 'x' instead of clicking on the sign out button, often a 404 error pops up when you sign in the next time. This is because the session is so-called incorrectly ended. OBI uses session variables to validate the login which causes these issues. So, my suggestion is to look for another way to validate the login. Taleo/Fusion Oracle HCM don't have issues when you close via 'x' & I don't see any reason why OBI needs to use these session variables. I'm aware of the fact that you can clean the cache and that you then can open OBI without any problem, but this is not a sufficient solution.
