Extract WhereUsed Information of all items in SCM

I had opened an SR in the Support portal - 

SR 3-20166077801

 to understand how to get the Whereused information of items from Reports and Analytics. I was told to run the ESS Job for WhereUsed information and got blank as results, if I did not specify an item number in the job criteria. Specifying one item as parameter to the job, enables the WhereUsed Quick Preview table to get populated. It looks like we can specify upto 100 items separated by comma for one job run. But the item numbers have to be specified in order to see the information in the Quick Preview. There is no automated way of extracting all the items in the environment and running this job on a schedule to get the information reflected in the Where Used Preview. Submitting this request to get the process automated for all items in the environment.
