Ability to add custom hyperlinks/actions to workspace

Description
It is currently possible to add custom hyperlinks to object landing/list pages in Sales Cloud, however it is not possible to add these to the workspace UI.
We would like to be able to define custom actions (to go alongside the existing actions like "Log a call ") to add custom hyperlinks, or just expose the hyperlink as a column on the the list results table.
Use Case and Business Need
We have some URLs to external applications and we'd like to allow users to navigate from the workspace results list to these external applications.
