Ability to use REST API as data set

Description
In BI Publisher it's possible to use SOAP web services as data sets. As REST API has more functionality it would be useful to have it available as data sets also.
Use Case and Business Need
For example only REST API allows apply prepayments to invoice. The idea is to create BI report which will select invoices and corresponding prepayments for application based on specific criteria. Then use REST API data set in the same report to make applications automatically. Thus user won't need to use web form for manual actions and could decrease processing time for some typical repeatative cases.
