Add Tax ID for Customer and Supplier in the most used AR and AP subject areas

Description (Required):

We built 95% of 4 key reports (list is going to increase) with OTBI. Layouting and design are so flexible and we want to keep OTBI as a reporting interface. For both design and usage.

However we fail to be able to use OTBI for these reports, because we can't pull into used subject areas the Tax ID of the customer and supplier. Tax ID exists in other Subject areas, but they are not connectable. We consider it's a great benefit to deliver the solution on OTBI, it s not feasable with the current set up. The detailed requirement is like this:


Receivables - Transactions Real Time - add customer tax ID

Receivables - Payment Schedules Real Time - add customer tax ID

Receivables - Standard Receipts Application Details Real Time - add customer tax ID

Payables Invoices - Transactions Real Time - add supplier tax ID


Use Case and Business Need (Required): With the Go Live of more and more countries, we have to develop more and more financial report that support local legal requirements given by local governmental authorities. We cannot avoid including the TAX ID of customers and suppliers in all reports that are around: Sales Journal, Receipts Journal, Payment Register, Purchase Journal. Hence OTBI becomes useless for these requests, as it does not display the TX Id of customer or supplier in the AP / AR datasets/subject areas that we need to engage. We would like to use OTBI. Needing your help to beable to use it further for financial reporting.
