Suppress Version Update on Deployed DVD Software

We manage the remote deployment of software to corporate workstations and have packaged the software for 12.2.1.2.0. With the release of 12.2.2.1.0, users are now getting prompted with the following pop-up on application launch:

Version Update

A new update 12.2.2.1.0-20161207045834 is available.

How can I disable checking for updates when performing deployment of DVD?  I specifically want to prevent this notification from being presented to users - we will manage the deployment of new versions of DVD for end users centrally.

Support have confirmed this cannot be disabled with the current release.

HI am experiencing the same issue in that it is prompting for updates on launch, and i do not want this behavior to occur.

Users get the option about reminding them next time, but i want to suppress the pop up all together.
