Snapshot for transactional data in BI Admin Tool

Hi,
I am fairly new to OBIA / OBIEE / ODI. I am working on importing custom tables from EBS (through ODI) all the way to be used in reports and analysis in OBIEE. I have done this, however, these custom tables imported from EBS are 'kill and fill' tables and there is no trend or snapshot data that gets stored. I want to create snapshots for these tables and I believe it can be done in the Business Model and Mapping layer of BI Admin Tool. I am stuck at this point and would appreciate any guidance on how to do this.
Thanks!

Hi,
Do you mean you want to historize data with these snapshots? If yes, then I sorry, but OBI analyzes data. ODI is the data engineering tool (or ETL / ELT). OBI doesn't manipulate data for storage. ODI does.

Thank you Christian.
But I know there is a way to model in BMM layer, may be to tie the physical tables to a time function or some way, haven't been able to figure it out yet.

A way to what? Historize? No, sorry. Take snapshots? No, sorry.
There's the aggregate persistence wizard if you mean that? https://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/bi/bi11117/agp/agr.html
Extremely far fetched, but: There are time series functions: https://gianniceresa.com/2017/01/time-series-functions-why-how-what-where-obiee/
