DVD 4 - "Explain" option doesn't show up

Summary
DVD 4 - "Explain" option doesn't show up
Content
I've tried installing the DVML package...it runs command prompt for a long time saying it's downloading a .zip file, after that it says "installing...please be patient", but then it says "Hit enter to continue" without stating if the install completed successfully or not. When I start DVD 4 and click on an attribute, I am not see the "Explain" option in the menu that drops down.
I'm assuming (?) the DVML didn't install properly? Can anyone confirm this - is there a way to verify?
Thanks,
Scott

Hi.
I had the same issue. I noticed the download via command line takes a long time and, for me, basically didn't finish.
I got the link and downloaded via IE. The file downloaded and I had the same issue you had.
Now the weird part:
I restarted my laptop and when it started up again, after login, the installation started. Working fine now.
Not sure if it was some kind of permission, didn't find any log, or if something else was holding the start up.
Sorry If I didn't help but I share the frustration with you.
UPDATE****
Just installed on a personal Laptop successfully. The first installation was on a corporate laptop full of policies and restrictions.
One thing was still slow, downloading via command window.
I used Chrome to download https://oss.oracle.com/DVML/DVML-1.0.0-win.zip while the installation was downloading, once chrome finished, the cmd window picked up that download and started the installation.
Cheers.

Well I have got a DVMLRuntime directory in C:/Program Files that looks like it was created at the time around I installed it if that helps?

Ok, I "finally" figured this out. Scanning my system for any files called DVML*.*, I saw a .msi file. Ran that "as administrator" and got an error saying that it was specifically blocked from my system by admin policies. Logged out and logged back in as a true local administrator and it installed perfectly. And it did create the C:\Program Files\DVMLRuntime directory.
Thanks!

Hi Fernando, once you downloaded the .zip file - where exactly did you unzip it? I'm not sure where to go to try the installation by hand.
Thanks!
