How to global change the data source name in the Data Model in Oracle BI Publisher

Hi,

I got a lot of data models (say 100) and now I would like to change the data source name of those data model (e.g. from DATA_SRC_A to DATA_SRC_B).

May I know whether there is any way to global replace the Data source name instead of changing the name of those data model one by one ?

Theoretically speaking (this is my big imagination...LOL) if you could download all dataModel at once, unzip all .xdmz folders, edit the _datamodel.xdm (and set where is the defaultDataSourceRef="your dataSource B" ) and upload all again it would work

Hello,

There is a way of you change the source of data in all of your data model in one place, however the DS name will remain the same.

Just change the name of the connection where you connect to.

Example of 2 jndi DS:

and you have in you´re reports the SRC_A.

Now to point to B change in administration:

and you will not need to use DS_B, just point DS_A to new destination.

Perhaps not what you want (if it´s possible) but is a way.
