This is expected behaviour , If BIP is installed as part of obiee the permission tab from xmlpserver by default is disabled ,analytics and xmlpserver will share same catalog ,so you can assign permissions to bip objects from analytics. Thanks

How can I enable permission tab for xmlpserver? i dont think so there is a process to enable permissions , Users want to change permission via xmlpserver. This does not make any difference if you apply persmissions from analytics or xmlpserver. you can assign permissions from analytics and users can run reports from xmlsperver. You are not required to logon to xmlpserver to run bi publisher reports , everything can me managed , controlled from analytics. Thanks
