please note: i already asked it in Apex forum on 31-Dec-2022 and received first reply on 08-Jan-2022 after 2 my own replies just to "reminder". @Timo Hahn give me this BI Publisher related forum link.

OS: Win 10 Pro, DB: 21cXE, Apex 22.1, ORDS 22.3, Tomcat 9, MS Word 2016, BI Publisher Desktop 10g

as main admin of Oracle Apex (during installation @apxchpwd script), in Manage Instance > Instance Settings i have configured

Report Printing:

Print Server = Oracle BI Publisher

Protocol   = HTTP

Host Address = localhost

Port     = 9704

Script    = /xmlpserver/convert

Print Timout = 300

in Apex created a Report Query and downloaded generated .xml file

created RTF template file in MS Word using BIP using above xml file.

in Apex now going to create Report Layout

in Report Layout when pressed Create button it is NOT showing/listing Named Columns (RTF) in its options

what mistake(s) i made or missing anything?

please help i am using Oralce DB, Apex, ORDS, BI Publisher.

regards

please read it too:

i have another machined with Windows 7 64 bit where its working fine, DB 11g XE, Apex 20.2, ORDS 20.2, Java 8, Tomcat 9

the difference is not working on Windows 10 machine, using Apex 22.1, ORDS 22.3, Java 11, Tomcat is same on both, BI Publisher server and desktop versions are same (10g) too as in Windows 7 machine.

I have configure Apex instance setting for print server BI Publisher with all defaults as mentioned in OP, but it is not showing Named Column (RTF) when trying to create Report Layout.

what i have missed or doing wrong. why it is not showing Named Column (RTF)?

if there is problem of BI version with Windows 10, i can try another. but i think when we use BI Publisher in instance setting, it should show Named Column (RTF) same as at apex.oracle.com

if anything else, please ask.

regards
