Is there a way to specify new default colors in OTBI

Summary
Overwriting Default Colours for bar graphs and Pie Charts
Content
Hello Everyone,
I'm looking for a way to overwrite the default colors for graphs. I know that I can specify each colour one by one in the style options of a chart.
Is there a way to write a CSS file that will do that for me?
Even if I can't apply the CSS file universally, I would happily point to it from within the Catalog in each report if I'm able.
Hopefully someone else has tackled this before. Using CSS could be a great way to improve our UX without having to fiddle with every analysis.
Kind Regards
Rob

The answer is to use a Style. The next trick is understanding how to configure styles...

Rob, As you have mentioned above this is done using custom skins or changing the defaults. I found this following document internally, please check. I am not sure if you could do that on cloud instance by yourself.

Hello Raghu,
Thanks for digging internally. If I"m reading the instructions we need to access the weblogic server. Is that something accessible to cloud customers?
If not, assuming we'd developed a skin we wanted could we reach out to Oracle to deploy our custom Skins the same way we have to reach out to perform a P2T?
I'm just looking for the path forward that doesn't involve me manually setting the colors for every graph on every analysis we create.
Kind Regards

Rob, yes, that is my understanding too. Cloud customers cannot modify it on their own.

hi Rob,
Since cloud customers will not have access to weblogic or system configuration, there is a work-around to enforce a certain format (color, size, background, etc) for columns everytime you use them.
Let's take a column 'Person Number' and apply all the required formats under 'Column Properties' and then choose 'Save as the system-wide default for 'Worker.Person Number' (or any other column) under 'Save as Default'.
I am not sure how it reacts after P2T but it should certainly retain the format.
Thanks,
Santosh
