Reviewed - Restore the functionality of sending "Failed Report" notifications whenever the agent doe

Description
Restore a functionality provided by Business Objects to receive email notifications upon failure in the delivery of a scheduled report
Use Case and Business Need
Issue: OBIEE does not currently supports the functionality of setting up email notifications to be distributed to specific recipients whenever a scheduled report has failed to be sent out by the system. This was a feature available in Business Objects, however it was discontinued in OBIEE.
Impact: Reporting Teams do not have the option anymore to identify immediately the failed scheduled report instances (by email notifications), instead they need to manually check the status of the agents in the system according to the scheduled reports calendar, which is time-consuming.
Proposal: Restore the functionality of setting up this type of email notifications. OBIEE should offer all the features available in Business Object, taking into account that it will be the only available reporting platform for Taleo after the end of 2016.

There was an outage on an entire pod: SR 3-1352870041 that really impacted us and our customers. Having many emails and inquiries on "where is my report" before we even know what is happening is not good.
I have also previously submitted this SR: 3-13344882191 that is related
It was suggested that I add these SRs as a comment to this request.

I am notified by our users when they do not get our reports - this is an unnecessary conversation if we had our own notifications.

This Enhancement is definitely needed for OBI to react immediately whenever any scheduled agent fails so that we can sure for guarantee delivery.
Currently situation is either we developers have to monitor manually, or user has to come back informing that they have not received the report.

We are unable to determine if the agents fail and they continue to fail and not deliver to the recipients. Having a way to be notified will help us fix the issue immediately and have less impact on the busniess.

This would be a useful enhancement for our company. Currently there is no way to be alerted of an agent failing until the person who did not receive the report tell us.

Proactive notifications of failed scheduled processes (Agents) is required functionality to successfully manage information going out to our business peers to be able to reduce the negative impact of missing information to the business. Looking through the UI at all Agents searching for "Agent Failed" is not efficient or effective.
