Description

A list of all reports within Taleo OBIEE

Use Case and Business Need

We would like to be able to access a list of all reports in our tenants within Taleo OBIEE, including report owners, creation date, associated agents, and other useful information such as last run time, etc. This type of information would be extremely beneficial for troubleshooting issues, providing easy reference of key elements of reports and also for ensuring system efficiency by minimizing duplicate reports. By having this accessible in one place (e.g. - a catalog) it saves a tremendous amount of time and ensures accuracy when reviewing the data, rather than searching through several folders and report definitions/history.

totally agree - We would like to publish a listing of all our custom reports , dahsboard and alerts not just OTBI so we can supplement with links to Requirements, Functional Specs, Tech Specs and will help with maintaining configuration control.

My company has literally hundreds of custom reports in SCM Cloud. We need better tools from Oracle to help manage the reports we have. The Export Captions capability in OTBI administration is a very minimal tool to understand what we have in the catalog. It does not supply owner, report security, or any other metadata we need to know how to change the catalog. Please provide a way to directly query the catalog for better management of the catalog.
