Creating OTBI Analysis From Static Data

Use Case and Business Need

Hi Experts,

I am aware we can create BI Data Model using static data( Excel, CSV,XML) but wondering if something similar is possible using OTBI too.

One specific use case being:

Say, I have a list of 100 person records in a CSV Format for which I would like to fetch the DisplayName.

I may create a simple OTBI Analysis which will have Person# and DisplayName as the output and the static data could be the filter clause which would come from another analysis(if we are able to create an analysis from static data).

Any views/insights would be really helpful.

You can hook up your static data in the RPD as a source, so long as you have a common field e.g Person# then you can create a filter analysis using this static data as if the data were part of the larger data set
