Certify OBIA 11.1.1.10.3 with RHEL 7.9

Description

We want to upgrade OBIA from 11.1.1.10.2 to 11.1.1.10.3. This is an out-of-place upgrade.

Currently OBIA 11.1.1.10.3 is certified for RHEL 7.5 and 7.8.

The BI Server where we will be installing OBIA 11.1.1.10.3 has RHEL 7.9 OS. Our company policy is to apply the latest security patches to our OS and upgrade the OS to the latest release so that we are not vulnerable to the attacks.

Hence, we want OBIA 11.1.1.10.3 to be certified with RHEL 7.9 at the earliest.

As per the Oracle Support, currently there is no timeline for certifying OBIA 11.1.1.10.3 with RHEL 7.9

 

 

 

Use Case and Business Need

To protect us from any security vulnerability, we keep our OS patched with the latest dot releases.

Hence, we have provisioned BI Server with RHEL 7.9 for installing OBIA 11.1.1.10.3

OBIA 11.1.1.10.3 is not currently certified for RHEL 7.9.

Hence, we want OBIA 11.1.1.10.3 certified with RHEL 7.9 at the earliest.
