Description

We are looking for the mechanism to automate the archive and unarchive steps of custom BIP catalogs from Reports and Analytics dashboard so that the reports and data models can be moved across different instances / pod without manual intervention. This mechanism can be utilized to implement CI/CD pipeline with DevOps to automate the source version control in the repositories as well as provides the mechanism for automatic deployment.

We are here looking for some REST APIs or other tools/scripts to perform these steps.

  

Use Case and Business Need

The business requires that all the modified custom BIP data models and reports catalogs should gets deployed across different instances without manual intervention and the CI/CD pipeline can be implemented for the same along with version source control.
