Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):

SAS Institute Inc

Description (Required):

I am trying to list invoices generated from PFM and the PM wants to know if the the invoice that he/she approved has been paid by the customer. This requires accessing the A/R data, which uses terminology that is different from PFM. 'Project Business Unit' of PFM is called 'Transaction Business Unit' in A/R. The Invoice number of PFM is called, 'Applied Transaction Number' in A/R. Passing parameters between OTBI reports work only when the field names do not have spaces. As the field 'Applied Transaction Number' has spaces, Oracle complains. Taking out the spaces does not help as the target subject area has no such field.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

This is an important requirement for PMs to know the status of their project invoices. This is a general requirement where OTBI fails when passing parameters between two subject areas that use different terminology. Often the fields have field names with spaces in OTBI.
