Not only diamonds are forever, measure aggregations definition on custom subject areas are too. Once the measure aggregations are defined for the first time, it's not allowed to add additional measures required to satisfy new business needings.
The alternative workaround is to CREATE A NEW SUBJECT AREA WITH THE MEASURE AGGREGATIONS CORRECTLY DEFINED AND REDEFINE ALL THE EXISTING ANALYSIS, what is a huge waste of resources/time for a quite simple change.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
The business needings on companies are constantly changing and the information needed to evaluate and monitor them may vary from initial definitions. We need a BI tool free from annoying restrictions that allows to make quick and simple changes to satisfy the company needdings.
We need that Custom Subject Areas allow to edit or (at least) add measure aggregations to fields with measures aggregation already defined.
