OAC Request variable for BI Author and BI Consumer

Question

Hi Everyone,

We have developed a solution to pass variable value though a request variable from OAC Dashboard to RPD in order to make the solution flexible as per customer demand. However, users other than Administrators are getting error that "You don't have permission to set the value of the variable".

Please let us know if you have any solution or workaround for this issue. Any lead would be highly appreciated.

If you open rpd in Admintool and Navigate to Manage > Variables, you can select the specific session variable and check the parameter "allow any user to set value for this variable" checkbox to True and see if this helps.
