Enable Apply and reset button use on parameters

Hi Team,

According to update on my SR "SR 3-33260979321" team has updated that

"Apply and reset button works on Data columns from the Data set.. not on the parameters"

As of now in case of multiple parameters on DV user has no control to give specific value to all parameters and then apply like from date and to date parameter.

Let me know if it can be implemented to improve user experience and provide them better controlling on reports parameter values.

Reports starts executing when user selects 1st parameter value.

We were trying to use apply and reset buttons on parameter to enhance user experience.

Hi Ravi,

We do not provide updates on SRs on this platform. SRs are exclusively managed on the support system, while this platform is meant to propose ideas that the community will vote on and product managers will review. Ideas are usually reviewed when there is some level of votes or other community activity, but there are always exceptions.

Regarding this topic (as an Idea, not the SR), the team is looking into this use case, but there is no current update. The concern is that there will be a performance hit once the user clicks on Reset, as the initialization will have to re-execute. Caching is only a partial solution as there might be dependencies not reflected in the specific dashboard filter bar that the user Reset).
