Hi Shalini,
I want to know the list of reports which are present in our catalog.
I dont want the lost of OOTB reports. So please understand the requirement properly and share us the details else will raise an SR.
Without giving any solutions, you are closing the SRs. I will share this in social media about the oracle support the way they are dealing the SRs. If you cannot offer solution, dont sell the products. I already told you that, this was present in previous versions, but now you didnt give option to download the required details. Ask you development team to provide this.
Thanks,

Hi Abhilash,
We understand your concern, but CATALOG MANAGER still offers an option to download custom reports as per your requirement.
Catalog Manager is a Client Tool which you have to download from Oracle and setup your environment to create a report on the specific catalog folder. More details on how to download and use : https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/bi/analytics-server/administer-oas/start-catalog-manager-and-open-catalogs.html#GUID-65D7594D-6F3D-4AD8-9002-F9A2C4503A03
Once downloaded, install the Oracle Analytic Catalog Manager and follow the below steps to Open Your Catalog :
- Open Catalog Manager, from the File menu, select Open Catalog.
- Complete the necessary fields, as described in the following list:
- Type — Select Online.
- URL — Enter the URL in the following format:
https://hostname/analytics-ws/saw.dll
- User — Enter the user name for the host URL.
- Password — Enter the password for the specified user.
- Locale — Select the locale.
View Only Mode — Select this field to open the catalog in view only mode.3.Click OK.
Sample report from Catalog Manager is attached below where in I tried pulling below fields : "Column" "Name" "Owner" "Path" "Subject Area"
The report looks like:
Hope this helps.

Have you tried to archive a snapshot of the catalog in OTBI, then unarchive it to a local instance of the same version of OBI that you have installed on your own machine on-premise (like a virtual machine on your laptop), then use catalog manager to report?

Hi Abhilash,
As per the cloud policies, SAAS customers will not have RPD access, but to get the column name and the list of custom reports as per your requirement, you can still use Catalog Manager.
I downloaded : Oracle Business Intelligence Developer Client Tool (12.2.1.4.0) using below link : https://www.oracle.com/br/middleware/technologies/business-intelligence-v12214-downloads.html
and follow the instructions on how to download and use : https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/bi/analytics-server/administer-oas/start-catalog-manager-and-open-catalogs.html#GUID-65D7594D-6F3D-4AD8-9002-F9A2C4503A03
You can see the sample which I have provided in my above thread
Hope this helps.
