Hi All,

We have a requirement to zip the output CSV file of an OTBI analysis before emailing it. Is it achievable?

    Hi Vibha,

    Thanks for the update.

You will not be able to Zip the output file in OTBI. This it not supported out of the box. Also FYI, there is no need to Zip the output file from the security point of view because any email going out of the Oracle CNS server will be encoded hence secure.

    Hope it helps

    Hi Vibha Pandey,

Currently there is no such option to zip the OTBI analysis output via OTBI Agent. Please create a new idea in Idea Lab on Customer Connect to have this functionality considered in the future. For more details, please refer to: How To Log An Enhancement Request (in Idea Labs) (Note: 2254478.1)

Using the Idea Lab, you will be able to:

     Socialize with Customer Community

Voting Capability which allows you to vote on ideas that are important to your business

More clear statuses on your ideas, including the ability to communicate with our Product Management team.

    Thanks

    Hi @wasim ashraf-Oracle ,

The requirement of the client is to email the output file, but they also want to zip it before emailing. This is more from security point of view.

Or can we do a password protected file while emailing.

    Regards,

    Vibha
