Hi all,

We cannot find the 9-Box assignment in FAW (it's n-box but 9-box is well-known). We have checked in subject areas:

HCM - Workforce Core

HCM - Talent Review Meetings

HCM - Talent Profile

In HCM OTBI, we can find the 9-Box assignment in subject areas:

Workforce profile - Person Profile Real Time 

Workforce Talent Review - Talent Review Meeting Real Time.

I'm interested in how other customers create analytics on the performance rating and potential rating of their talent. Do you use a formula to re-create the 9-box labels? Do you use a Pivot visualization, or do you use a custom extension for a 9-box DV?

I have found the answer, using a 2021 post that was very helpful and I hope it helps others as well:

I have now built my own 9-box visualization and it looks great. Since the box assignment labels are not available in FAW, I have created a calculation with a Case expression to apply our labels to each of the 9 boxes.

I created another canvas to depict the 9-box with only 3 labels to showcase the customizability to our talent manager: gold, silver, bronze.
