Provide a simple way to change Permissions of Catalog objects from User A to User/Role/Group B
We would like to have an easy way to change permissions for many OAC catalog objects (analyses, agents, folders, etc.) in one actions.
Example:
- Open Catalog
- locate Folder
- Select many object, (click -> shift-click and/or ctrl-click)
- [New Functionality] ---> Click the "Properties" and /or "Permissions".
- change permissions for all the selected objects at once.
Use Case: When an employee leaves the company, we would prefer to switch Ownership for all their catalog items, from them to a role, or to a current user.
We are doing this going right-click on each object, one by one, but we would appreciate a way to do this massively. If possible without having to use complex API calls. We would appreciate a way to do this via GUI.
Thanks,
Marcelo Finkielsztein

NOTE: I updated the text of this Idea, removing the Ownership part.. Currently, changing Ownership CAN be done the way i had described. Using the DV version of the website, (as opposed to "Classic"). So, i am removing references to ownership, and leaving on only Permissions.
