Reporting historical phases/states of candidates

Hi I was wondering if anyone has managed to create a running total report on the amount of candidate that have passed through stages of the recruitment process within early careers. Using the recruiting real time subject will only allow me to report on the current phase or state.

I would like to know how many candidates have been in 'New', 'Screening', 'Interview' etc as a total number so we can work out where candidates are dropping off in the process to make some sort of funnel chart etc
