presentation var doesnot refresh dynamically

Hi

I have report with presentation variables in the column formula(I cannot use those columns in the report level).when the prompts are changed in the dashboard, the report doesnot reflect the data change dynamically unless we click on refresh report.

Can anyone help with this please.

When you change your prompt and click on "Apply" do you see the page reloading objects?

I have checked with the Apply button too, but it doesnot help. I still need to refresh the report to get the data.

The report works fine in normal report, the issue is coming up in the union report only.

I use presentation var in a union reports and i dont have any problems, whatever, could you please tell what is version of your obiee? And pay and past , how do you ise the presententation var? As a filter? As a column formula?

Hi Cesar,

I am using the around 5 presentation variables in each column formula in my union report for calcualtions.I cannot use them at report level in the filters. The obiee version is 11.1.1.7.141014 (Build 140916.0744 64-bit).

Hello, I remeber that i got this issue, how i passed i? I use EVALUATE FUNCTION and here I pass the presentation variables, create the function and inclued all the logic that you need.use this for your filter or the column that your need.
